School Day
The first bell will ring for students at 7:30. The tardy bell will ring at 7:55. For students to receive perfect attendance they must not receive any tardies for the year. The dismissal bell will ring at 2:25 p.m. for bus and daycare students. Car riders and walkers will be dismissed at 2:35.

Lunch Prices
Lunch for students at the elementary schools is $1.90. Breakfast costs $0.80 for students.

Early Checkout for Students
Your child’s education is very important. We ask that you consider making any outside appointments for your child after school or as late in the school day as possible. If you should need to check your child out early, please sign your child out in the main office area.

Registration Information
Information about necessary registration/ required documents may be obtained by calling the school office at (336) 625-4163 or mail at 294 Newbern Avenue, Asheboro, North Carolina 27205.

Volunteer
Volunteers are always needed in our schools to assist and share in the educational programs for all students. If you would like to volunteer for any area in our school, please contact your child’s teacher or you may contact our school office at (336) 625-4163. There are also many ways to volunteer through our PTO. We will be happy to have a PTO representative contact you about ways that you can help!

Grading Scale
Teachers in Grades K-2 use the following grading scale to assess students:
S- Satisfactory
P- Progress Shown
N- Needs Improvement
U- Unsatisfactory

Teachers in Grades 3-5 use the following grading scale to assess students:
A 93-100
B 85-92
C 77-84
D 70-76
U 0-69
