Unit on Rocks and Life Cycles of Plants/Seeds

 ~Explored the different types of rocks and how they were created.

~Dissected seeds and watched them sprout into seedlings.  The students then planted them to observe how these seedlings grow into plants.  We discussed how to take care of the plants throughout their life cycles and the needs they have.

Unit on Amazing Animals

~ A 6 week integrated unit on how animals survive in many different habitats around the world.  We will learn through experiments and various hands on activities that will help the students learn how the animals adapt in each of their own homes.
