The Accelerated Reader Program is a computerized reading motivation program. Students may read a book from the AR list, take a test on the book, and earn points. The computer software maintains all records for the program. Students in grades 2-5 may participate by taking quizzes in the media center, classroom, or computer lab. Tests may be taken from 7:40 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. AR books in the media center are labeled with gold dots on the spine so they can be easily identified.
