Hello My Name Is...
I am originally from Winchester, Indiana (Randolph County, IN) and moved down to Asheboro, North Carolina (Randolph County, NC) 21 years ago. I graduated from Ball State University, which is located in Muncie, Indiana. I received my Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts degree at Ball State University.
After graduating, I moved to North Carolina and started teaching High School and Middle School. I taught in the Chatham County School System for 8 years. I then moved to Asheboro City Schools and taught at McCrary Elementary for 10 years. This is my sixth year as a Teachey Tiger and I love it!
I live out in the country with my husband David an Asheboro native, who is retired from the Asheboro City School System. I have two sons, Kory, who lives in Lillington, NC and Kameron, who attends Asheboro High School. We also have a cute little white Bichon dog named Angel who enjoys riding the golf cart and four-wheeler.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my children, riding four-wheelers, zip lining and spending time at the lake.
